Zone Conferences and French Towns

So as many of you know Canada is known for having two official languages. Well I got my first taste this week of the other official language. Because my comp is from French Canada, Montreal, we went down to St. Claude and tracted around. Pretty much everyone we talked to down there is bilingual. Luckily for me ;) It was a good time. Elder Dagenais was enjoying speaking his first language I'm sure. He's always happy when someone compliments his english. To go along with this we got some Le Livre de Mormon this week so we wouldn't be unprepared. So after we got them I tried reading French and I slaughtered it. Just destroyed it. I can copy fairly well but, there ain't no way I would be able to pick up a french thing and read it in a way that anyone can understand. So to preserve my dignity I had Elder Dagenais read a bit of Das Buch Mormon. It was a good time. Plus Elder Morales came up this week as well and threw in a bit of Spanish for us.

This week we also finally got to see the broadcast where we found out our new schedule. It's something that I'm needing to figure out still but it works quite well. It was good to see President Craig as usual.

After the Conference we went to the Papuseria again which is always a good time. It's fun to be almost a part of the Spanish District. They're a fun group of Elders. It's not so fun when they start talking about their secret things in Spanish though ;)

Also (shout out to Connor) this week is the week of my 18 month mark. The big 18 months... It's gone by way too quickly. I don't feel like I should be at this point in my mission but, here I am.

Anywho That's all I got for this week. I love youz. Have a great week and for those in the good old Valley don't go insane while the sewer system is constipated.
